AGLC is a Government of Alberta agency which focuses on:

  • ensuring the gaming and liquor activities in Alberta are conducted honestly, openly and with integrity, and
  • maximizing the economic benefits of gaming and liquor activities in the province to benefit all Albertans.

A major component of AGLC’s mandate is social responsibility. One aspect of this is to ensure that the public is educated on ways to approach drinking alcohol in a responsible and mindful manner.

We were tasked to create a fun, approachable site for adults between the ages of 18 to 35. Utilizing the Canadian Low Risk Drinking Guidelines as our information source and contest concepts from Calder Bateman Communications, we created a site wherein a user learns the facts about drinking responsibly and with that knowledge enters a contest for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

We also present “the science” of alcohol and provide in-depth information it’s effects, the laws pertaining to it, myths & facts and what it can do to a person’s body.
